Weddings & Special Events
If you're attending a wedding or special event where children are invited, I also offer nanny services on-site to ensure they are well cared for while you relax and enjoy the occasion.
About Me
I'm a qualified Early Childhood Educator and Nanny, as well as a car seat technician. I’m also a mother to two young boys, aged 5 and 10. Our family lives on a peaceful lifestyle block just 2–3 minutes from the town centre.

I would highly recommend Kylie to look after your children. She has years of experience working with children and always provides such fun and engaging activities. Kylie provides a fun and caring environment and I would not hesitate to leave my children with her.
Our 2 children love spending time in Kylies care. They regularly talk about her at home and the fun they have had in Kylie’s home. They remember the fun experiences they enjoyed while with her and especially love the large outdoor playground her home has.
Kylie has always been a great mix of professional and very nurturing, creating a trusting and loving relationship with our children. She provides loads of fun activities and toys that are appropriate for the children’s ages, this helps to make the goodbye time easier as they are already busy having fun before I leave.
She has many years experience working with children under 5years old so has always been my go to child carer even when the children were young babies. I was never hesitant and felt completely comfortable leaving them with her. She sends regular pictures of what the children are doing to reassure me and allow me to enjoy and focus on my own time.
We used Kylie to babysit our 1 year old and 3 year old so we could do some tours during our time in Kaikoura.
Kylie is one of the warmest and kindest people you’ll ever meet and I’m so glad we found her! At every step of the way, Kylie’s communication was great and she really helped to put my mind at ease at the idea of booking a babysitter from abroad.
When we arrived in Kaikoura, she could not have been more helpful and amazing. She arranged to meet the kids the day before so they would know her, and sent us a photo of her home playground which helped to get our eldest excited to go over to her house. He isn’t usually great at separating from us, but within 30 seconds was happily chatting to Kylie and had a really fun day with her.
Kylie’s house has so many great things for the kids to do indoors and outdoors, not to mention farm animals. Kylie sent photo updates of their happy faces throughout the day. Our kids had a fabulous day and our son has spoken many times about what fun he had.
I wrestled with mom-guilt about booking a babysitter on our family holiday, especially in a foreign country. I’m so glad I did. Not only did we get to swim with dolphins, but the kids had one of their best days of the holiday too.

Childcare is primarily provided from my home, which is set up to be a comfortable and engaging space for children. However, if preferred, I am also available to provide care from your accommodation upon request.
